C-B-A of Driving a car
Started off with a bang loaded with lots of enthusiasm to learn driving a car so that I may join the crowd of youth(largely) and people of all ages leading the race on road to reach to their destinations in the fastest time possible. With such excitement I got myself enrolled at the driving school, went on for a class on learning the various signs on the road and safety measures to be undertaken while driving.
The first started off with a small duration of half an hour to get a grip on the actual working of the various parts in the car and to be able to manage to drive for more than 4 Kms ( obviously with the trainer on the other side, to make all obstacles disappear for me ;). The only grudge was to get up early and start up at 7 itself. As time went on ten days of training went on by learning it properly and to get the confidence to drive independently.
Almost after a month got to give the test drive today and getting a confirmation on receiving the Driving license after two weeks brought in a feel of another achievement after successfully completing my M.B.A- http://anjubafna.blogspot.com/2010/02/move-beyond-adequacy-mba.html . Now time to move ahead and practice driving with efficiency and to enjoy the freedom of using this opportunity in the most happening and useful manner.

A Move Beyond Adequacy (M.B.A)
Having completed my post graduation I call M.B.A not in its original abbreviated form, but one which is beyond the adequate requirement of a degree. The feel of having acquired more enhanced knowledge which could be applied to building the strategy of one's own development in life seems to require an applause. The way we manage to complete the most difficult assignments in the shortest duration possible to studying huge piles in just a matter of one night could happen only with the students who have been trained to handle all pressures in a strategic manner ;)
Having made a bunch of new friends for the 4th time it rather seemed that the bonding would not be as great as the previous ones. It proved to be wrong as I had new friends, t was same with others. We got to each other all well and in a period of certain time, college seemed more fun due to friends than studies. Wish all the friends do keep in touch as oaths taken when we leave the college. The journey through this study has thought how to adapt to various situations, how to handle stress and also how to smile in the most difficult times with the support of friends. In a nutshell it has given us the motive to change the dynamics within us to turn around the problems to solutions which are just more than adequate.

A Fantabulous New Year Beginning..
The New year began with happiness of being satisfied to achieve and enjoy lot of new stuffs. With the exploration of new restaurants came in tatsing the flavors at Chowka in Indiranagar. A restaurant which serves Rajasthani meal with the real feel as the ambience and the clothes of the waiters are similar to ones wore in Rajasthan. A sumptous meal and taste that fills one to their hearts content. The thali contains dal baati, roti, sabzi, dahi chaat etc. All spices and flavors come authentically as per Rajasthani taste.

Saturday brought in more element of surprise to the place visited. Barbeque Nation in Indiranagar. Its an exquisite and exotic place for a variety of starters that are grilled on the table and one can enjoy them served hot. The restaurant is in-house and also rooftop. Sitting on the rooftop added to the excitement. The starters keep getting served unless the flag beside on the table is put down. The starters are followed by an unlimited buffet. With great starters to healthy starters, north indian main course and side dishes to tempting and delicious desserts including fruits, ice cream, sweet, pastry and mousse, its a complete enriching experience and worth every penny you spend to enjoy the food with the service and ambience matching the high standards.
Sunday came closer with shopping around at Oasis Mall in Koramangala followed by lunch at Mast Kalandar( about which I had written earlier- http://anjubafna.blogspot.com/2009/11/foodie-weekend.html) A long wait and serching around made us land at this restaurant as places where buzzing with people at all places. A Halka phulka meal as a perfect north indian really would crave one to visit this place again. The weekend ended on a perfect note by watching '3 Idiots'. Its a movie which would entertain nonstop with every scene coming in with a thought to ponder over and inspiring to change the way the education system operates and to encourage one to study and become what he/she aspires.
The great new year celebration with the never-done-before activities really makes it most memorable and a cherishing one. Wishing for such a happening life all throughout the year.

Southern Taste Bud(die)s
Another rich experience of the same flavor came in the same week at MTR Maiya's which is a more sophisticated place for a meal. A long wait for around an hour was even agreed to eat at that place looking at the crowd even on a weekday as holidays had approached and nevertheless people are big foodie out here. A clean hygienic place with ordinary and special meals both serving unlimited dishes, just that the latter added a few more dishes. A meal could keep one filled for whole day and feel contended to eat at a great place.
Initially having thought as MTR Vs Maiya's but finally I realize that both places are exquisite in their own ways. Visiting these places really makes one crave for the real southern taste buds.

When things just dont go our way!!
One such experience happened for getting a L.L.R for driving a four wheeler. With great efforts one reaches out to the driving school, submits required documents, thinking all done, and there emerges one hitch after the other, specifying this is not available etc. Rushing through for arranging one more document to running to the R.T.O to get it duly registered and taking up the test (keeping in mind that the R.T.O is open for such only for two hours). Here is when a gap is created between in what we percieve and what we expect.
At the end of it, when things finally fall in place we realize the various hardships that we face. But in the due course we forget to realize that their were lots of other minds and hands that played a signifiacnat role in helping us get what we wanted. Hence its essential that we control our temper and analyse how the process goes on, and if there are deviations that occur and not going as per our way, we should try to foresee those aspects ahead of steeping into it. Having control on one's self will help us determine our aspirations in a more significant manner.

Foodie Weekend
With the exams ending on saturday, it really meant that a great lunch would indeed make it special to start off. For this special lunch i landed up in a great northern cuisine style place called Mast Kalandar at Brigade Road.
Mast kalandar is set up on the roof top with cool breeze making u still temptingly wait for the hot and delicious flavor of the northern spices added to the food. It has limited set of items, but such that fulfills everyone's desire and the taste. With a range of combos consisting of Rajasthani rotis and sabzi, to pure north indian food to the biriyani platter, it makes the meal not only enjoying but also colorful. With a starter such a dahi puri and a welcome drink of Shikanji (Lime juice), which is the basic drink that one could ask for, still makes it the best. A full meal with essential requirements well made, hygienic conditions and great ambience is a definite place to visit with friends and family. For details visit http://bangalore.hungryzone.com/index.php/restaurant/Mast-Kalandar-Church-Street/5139/North-Indian-Food-in-Combos/church-street
Sunday marked the start from the movie Kurbaan and then the flavor of South Indian meal for lunch to linger on the tongue. With a desperate wish to eat the south indian meals, a place called Krishna Cafe attracted us. Its placed in Koramangala, a place with buzz and usual humming around. Its a very usual set up of a restaurant, served rice and other varients like poriyal, sambar, vada, applam, payasam, curd, buttermilk etc. on the banana leaf and u can keep asking for more and more to satisfy your hunger till u end up finging no place to put in another bite at very reasonable price. good quality food and efficient service from the staff states its uniqueness.
Evening was more delighting with dinner at an exquisite restaurant 'Jalpaan'. Situated opposite to Nethradhama, kanakpura road, it establishes itself on the higher end. Expensive on the whole it serves a range of north indian dishes which makes us think as to how to go on with ordering the food, but ends up in a great taste. Being Sunday and huge crowds at the hotel makes people wait for atleast an hour, which really makes lose patience if accompanied with children and huge storm of hunger in each one's stomach knocking for food. The service was slow, but the feel good factor was added by the receptionist who kept smiling though people kept raging their fire on her. Well thats what they claim to stand for- Service with a smile. With a little more improvement in the efficiency of the staff, it would make it more of happy experience than just a ere visit.
