Marri(man)ageable Affair

Marriages are made in heaven, is what all of us have heard of, but the post effects are that they have to be lived here(however this 'here' is interpreted as). Marriages are merely not an affair committed to the couple, but everyone else who is associated with them. The close ones, far away relatives, friends, each one wants to be seen at their best and make their presence. There has been a timely delay in me writing a blog too in this situation.

I was quite busy shopping for my cousin's marriage and each member of my family had started planning for a couple of months before it. The day we hit on to the markets and shop to check out the latest trends and fashion, it makes all exciting and tiring. Even a non-shopaholic person would turn to one during this time, as it seems most important to look the best. It keeps leading to one another and we end up buying almost half the world out there.

The shoppong experience is not only a tedious task for the buyers but for the sellers too. We Indians have a tendency to make the shopkeeper display dozens of each variety available in the shop and then finally put down saying "Ah, tat does not suit my complexion or that is not what i was looking for", frustrating the shopkeeper and feeling within that i hope this sales person does not stay when i make the next purchase out here. :D

This went on for a couple of months and we finally completed the shopping,, though some stuffs kept carried on till the last minute. After so much of happening when we finally arrive on the day of marriage, it all seems like this evening would wind up in a fe hours and all that we did for is gonna last here. Hence the package of memories we hold within us is what makes the experience complete and fruitful.

As marriages are made in heaven, I wish they dont make a hell out of it.
