Southern Taste Bud(die)s

The time is moving on with exploration of various flavors across the food points in Bangalore. The new venture this time was to taste the traditional southern flavors at the most reputed and visited place for the meals. MTR(Mavalli Tiffin Rooms) is a must visit to enjoy the various southern spices within a meal. Starting with few starters to the main course everything comes unlimited with the price paid. Though on a little expensive side its really worth the pay for the various dishes served on the platter(on the banana leaf of course!!). A walk to remember took place at the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens before we could enjoy the meal, as being really excited that we reached an hour earlier before they could open up. A heavy meal that lingers all your taste buds is the true experience gained from here.

Another rich experience of the same flavor came in the same week at MTR Maiya's which is a more sophisticated place for a meal. A long wait for around an hour was even agreed to eat at that place looking at the crowd even on a weekday as holidays had approached and nevertheless people are big foodie out here. A clean hygienic place with ordinary and special meals both serving unlimited dishes, just that the latter added a few more dishes. A meal could keep one filled for whole day and feel contended to eat at a great place.

Initially having thought as MTR Vs Maiya's but finally I realize that both places are exquisite in their own ways. Visiting these places really makes one crave for the real southern taste buds.

When things just dont go our way!!

Every new day in our lives bring in a new challenge to face up n live to the best of it. How diffcult it is to be calm ansd normal at these times. Most of the times we lose out our temper and feel being at the end of reaching what we aspire for. Its a natural human tendency to lose out hope at times when we are stressed out giving numerous try and not being able to achieve it within the prescribed time limit.

One such experience happened for getting a L.L.R for driving a four wheeler. With great efforts one reaches out to the driving school, submits required documents, thinking all done, and there emerges one hitch after the other, specifying this is not available etc. Rushing through for arranging one more document to running to the R.T.O to get it duly registered and taking up the test (keeping in mind that the R.T.O is open for such only for two hours). Here is when a gap is created between in what we percieve and what we expect.

At the end of it, when things finally fall in place we realize the various hardships that we face. But in the due course we forget to realize that their were lots of other minds and hands that played a signifiacnat role in helping us get what we wanted. Hence its essential that we control our temper and analyse how the process goes on, and if there are deviations that occur and not going as per our way, we should try to foresee those aspects ahead of steeping into it. Having control on one's self will help us determine our aspirations in a more significant manner.

Foodie Weekend

Exams taking a toll the last week and long unending hours of study and less sleep, called for a great celebration this weekend to mark the end of it and getting back in to the exploration of Bangalore.
With the exams ending on saturday, it really meant that a great lunch would indeed make it special to start off. For this special lunch i landed up in a great northern cuisine style place called Mast Kalandar at Brigade Road.

Mast kalandar is set up on the roof top with cool breeze making u still temptingly wait for the hot and delicious flavor of the northern spices added to the food. It has limited set of items, but such that fulfills everyone's desire and the taste. With a range of combos consisting of Rajasthani rotis and sabzi, to pure north indian food to the biriyani platter, it makes the meal not only enjoying but also colorful. With a starter such a dahi puri and a welcome drink of Shikanji (Lime juice), which is the basic drink that one could ask for, still makes it the best. A full meal with essential requirements well made, hygienic conditions and great ambience is a definite place to visit with friends and family. For details visit http://bangalore.hungryzone.com/index.php/restaurant/Mast-Kalandar-Church-Street/5139/North-Indian-Food-in-Combos/church-street

Sunday marked the start from the movie Kurbaan and then the flavor of South Indian meal for lunch to linger on the tongue. With a desperate wish to eat the south indian meals, a place called Krishna Cafe attracted us. Its placed in Koramangala, a place with buzz and usual humming around. Its a very usual set up of a restaurant, served rice and other varients like poriyal, sambar, vada, applam, payasam, curd, buttermilk etc. on the banana leaf and u can keep asking for more and more to satisfy your hunger till u end up finging no place to put in another bite at very reasonable price. good quality food and efficient service from the staff states its uniqueness.

Evening was more delighting with dinner at an exquisite restaurant 'Jalpaan'. Situated opposite to Nethradhama, kanakpura road, it establishes itself on the higher end. Expensive on the whole it serves a range of north indian dishes which makes us think as to how to go on with ordering the food, but ends up in a great taste. Being Sunday and huge crowds at the hotel makes people wait for atleast an hour, which really makes lose patience if accompanied with children and huge storm of hunger in each one's stomach knocking for food. The service was slow, but the feel good factor was added by the receptionist who kept smiling though people kept raging their fire on her. Well thats what they claim to stand for- Service with a smile. With a little more improvement in the efficiency of the staff, it would make it more of happy experience than just a ere visit.

Firangi Paani/ Sahib Sindh Sultan

With an ongoing journey to explore all places in and around Bangalore, I landed up at a finest restaurant named Sahib Sindh Sultan at the Forum Mall in Bangalore. With its exceptional and mind dangling ambience and the great artistic touch given to the shades of the place, it really soothes each one's soul. It gives the feel of the perfect romantic atmosphere to spend best time with your loved ones.

Set up with the look and remembrance around the time when the sultans ruled over India, the restaurant by the BJN group, is designed in such a way that one would feel having reached to those times. Each customer is treated being like a sultan with the grace and pleasant meal served on. From the clothes designed for the waiters and manager, who actually has worn a uniform of a security personnel, the music of olden times, the tone of engines heard every now and then, to the specially designed coach. It would really amaze one as to how much of artistic work has gone into designing such a restaurant.

The food served is another unique feature or one can call it their USP. With a complimentary stater in the form of soup sticks and tempting side dishes would make one take a guess instantly as to how the entire course of meal would be. The names of the dishes themselves portray how royal and rich them seem to be. Their welcome drinks include rich flavors of saffron and sandalwood. Th quantity served is proportionate to the huge hunger one would carry to this place. Each bite would make one feel the real taste of the spices and varieties that the Sultans enjoyed as a part of their everyday meal. With such a good ambience around, one would feel like asking for a minute more, any number of times before leaving this place.

A very special moment celebrated here would add more happiness and memories is definitely certified. The smiles carried on by each of the staff member makes it still more pleasant and alluring. A little on the expensive side, but a place that offers one so many things under one roof is definitely worth the pay. A place must to visit when in Bangalore.

Shopaholics

A mystery lingers around my mind when the very nature of shopaholics surrounds my thoughts. Shopaholics in general are considered people who have enormous time and hard currency(both notes and plastic card considered) to spend around satisfying all their needs, actually above their needs at any particular time. When such people do not mind spending money for all the essential( which only they consider to be), why dont they spend on things which are truly essential considered by the total mass.

Here are a few facts which lead me to think about this:
  • Shopaholics spent huge amounts on clothes, accessories( for their mobiles too) but they always have only single digit balance in their mobile phones.
  • These people roam around to various places in bus, not willing to spend for the auto fare.
  • These people spend thousands of rupees for a branded stuff, but bargain for every rupee at a local store.
These are just few of the instances noted by me. I wonder how people cannot afford to recharge their mobiles which costs way less than their single showroom purchase bills. All of u reading this blog could definitely help in resolving this mystery.

Melting Moments..

Memories are best friends is a belief which is truly being experienced. As each day passes on every little thought becomes a memory, whether good or bad, they do have a hidden meaning in each of them. With the two phases of fun already portrayed in the previous blogs, the next set came in as meeting friends who were long known but could not get a opportunity to meet them. Finally it came on a Sunday, and the very own Forum mall set the perfect platform to roam around.

This meet made me know my friends better and also to get to know what they essentially thought of me. It all came in a positive note and healthily( as i had two glasses of juice, really needed!!!) Time moved on to bring in more surprises in the future week. Staying back with the cousins as we used to in our childhood days.

The times of being children are most remembered thinking of the numerous mischievous acts done and also having lotttttt of time available to spend with each other. Four classes played Uno for whole noon, late night outing for an ice cream, driving through faster to reach home before it starts raining heavily and a sigh of relief noting we were not that late.

This part of fun extended to another day of shopping on the most poplulous areas in Bangalore- The Commercial Street and Brigade Road, with not so much hopping as such, but happiness of having spent time with each other. Back home in the evening with another round of we cousins outing to have special 'Akki Roti'. Heavy dinner followed by Ice cream, a walk for 2 kms, on the way a bite of pani puri, n having fun seeing one of my cousin dying hard to fight with the spicy chilli she chewed thinking it to be potato. Ah.. It was like one of the most beautiful evening spent after years with cousins like this.

These moments do not occur so usually now, as each one of us are equally busy in our own fields of study. Hence these memories melt into each one of our hearts to be cherished forever.

An Undestined Paradise- Phase II

In a move to explore new places having arrived to the Garden City, the lush green gardens created by nature, catching ones eye moves one to other big malls created by human hands. Having recently visited the Forum Mall here its a huge one as normally other malls are and a keen observation would make one realize its a place for roaming around like in gardens rather than a serious shopping option.

A huge crowd draws in everyday, maximizing the most during weekends. Hand in hand people move around seeing those extravagant shopping stores, delighting ones wishes but restricting on the wallet terms. The crowd here enjoys the most at the food court (which charge no less in comparison) but provides a great seating place and hygienic surrounding to enjoy the eating moments.

Apart from this they also hold in special events wherein they call in people for performance, like i saw a team from Karnataka forming a dance attracting larger crowds to stay tuned to their performance and beats. Then a whole round of quizzes and other form of shows to make people stay there beyond the time they wanted to be there.

Nevertheless its the best way to spend your day with family and friends, for shopping movie or just freaking out.

An Undestined Paradise

Its been like a journey with the winds and waves to move across from one place to the other. Never to have thought to shift to another place for a living for quite a long time, i landed up in Bangalore. Its indeed a paradise when u start finding out there is much more beyond what one explores. From official buildings to parks to numerous places to hang out, the list seems endless.

Within a short duration one would get to know so much about this place, that one would say ' I need more'. A small journey throgh the city and i found mind filling aroma from the fresh breeze at the parks, to ups and downs n the roads due to metro being constructed, the huge and small shopping centers ( definitely the more u take from them its less ;) ), the parliament( Vidhan Saudha) to having had the first time experience at the McDonalds, loved it.

The fresh climate and the rains ; the feeling of being lazy around with it, is the best feeling one would get out of here. Still its buzzing with lot of professionals and business people, the vendors and lots of small eateries existing. The varieties would range from a small outlet to huge ones. All in all its a place for all ranges. One thing of course that would not soothe the mind and body would be the traffic. It really takes most of the time, usually more than the work that u were out for. It all calls for patience. I m having a gr8 time out here.
A sip in life with the journey beyond home.

A transitional celebration

A year has gone by through various thoughts and feelings passing as wind, skipped through many a heartbeats in excitement and pain, to realize that its a year completed on my blogging, on this very "World's Heart Day".

With purity in heart and determination in mind, lot of learning has taken place. From being a simple and not a very outspoken person, today a change lies in portraying thoughts through meaningful and interesting flow of words. A sense of freedom with responsibility and enjoying the independence is what I see awaiting at my doorstep in the near future.

With new hopes and passion in every heartbeat I welcome this new transition in my life. With happiness and memories to form a part of the most journey of life. Its time to refresh the old uncertainties with new challenges and aspirations.

Procession @ 2.30 am

This is a blog written on par with a blog already written by "Yet another blogger". Dreaming of achieving those things that we could actually get only in dreams, and all of a sudden a whole lot of drums and other instruments reach into your ears, to realize its time to celebrate a holy procession at 2.30 am. Well that was an experience i had last night. It came a shock more than as a surprise.

Flashing lights, crowd of people, security forces, music to the highest extent. Though its said that loud music is not to be played after 10pm, here it exceeded the limit excessively. Prayers and divine rituals come from the bottom of the heart of every individual and i am not sure whether this should go on. Having a great belief in God myself, I did not know how well to react towards it.

Wish that these things do not disrupt the flow of things the way naturally it is.

Retaining time?

Words always don't rhyme, but systematically get fine with time

I was busy hence could not call u back; oops i forgot ur b'day, do these things happen to most of us. Well this may due to the fact, that we keep ourselves so busy, no realizing what we are missing in the due course. The happy moments spent with our family, freaking out with friends to any known or unknown place, being with our loved ones when all they needed us and lot more to go. This is the scenario with the development of life and through our career.

In today's world we talk about retaining the key people in our organization so that wee the maximum growth and make huge profits, talent management is the name. Similarly do we ever try to retain the most essential resource of all "time" for all who are around us? Life has to be equally balanced between the professional and personal life, if one takes over the other, it would truly lead to a consequence most unexpected.

We have to take up this thought before we land in the situation where we think IF i could have taken some time for it. Lets become more practical in life and judge on our priorities. These should not only be focused for short-term, but which would help us throughout our life. Let us look at things more keenly and observe the essential facts. It wouls eventually make us say All's well that ends well. That end should truly come in a happier way without regretting for not haven taken time.

A journey called life....

The small steps with long tears flowing, this is the way that made most of us enter into school on the first day. The moment when our parents had thought, my kid would be a doctor, engineer etc etc. Dreams started building in their minds from our first step itself. Day then onwards more aspirations and inspirations drive us towards achieving them. Life gets it shape and meaning with the most important role played by 'education'

Doing my MBA today and almost close to acquiring that degree too, i traced my life in this journey of moving from high school, to getting graduate and doing my PG today. This thought came up while passing through my school building after a long time. Life has shown all its colours with numerous real and virtual experiences faced during this phase of learning. This education decides on our present and where it would take us in the future.

Education in itself does not mean only what we learn from our teachers, but also from our friends and by others whom we are surrounded by during the whole course of it. A lot of meaning seems hidden in every moment of time that we spend with all. From an immature thinking, on believing all that is told to us, to the flow of logical thinking that builds in us is the real proof of this studying. It holds a lot of importance for me, as it helped my become a more confident and outspoken rather than being an introvert.

This blog can be taken as a dedication to all those who lent their support and guidance to help me reach where i am today. As said the life that is spent while stdying can never come back, I would like to tell all that its been so true of this experience that I wuld never wish that to end. Nevertheless, Enjoy each moment of it whole heartedly. Cheers!!

A dream NOT to come true

It is often believed that what we dream is a part of what we imagine. There may be scenes of action, drama, tragedy, horror and all that u could never figure out u could be. The courage comes in from nowhere to make even a fragile person be as strong as iron.

A dream that i saw last night had a mix of all these. I could play three roles together( I should say it was a movie been seen or acted in), as it always happens in 'reel' life. We were 6 people on a cruise and during the course of it, when things were all going on smoothly, more than a pinch of horror struck upon. As i was about to click a photo, i could see that though there were six people in front of me, through the camera i can only see three of them. This is the point wherein i realized that the other three had already been dead, n they were ghosts.

Things just began to heat up with fear, when the strong waves within the sea began to take its course towards the ship. It could only happen in a dream, where a ship sailed as fast as a speed boat and there is hardly a moment one could think of breathing too. One of the person on board wanted to get a plastic surgery done, and the doctor approached was all friendly. On the rough side, it turned out to be that the doctor murdered the person and threw her in the sea.

These things were being experienced and also as some person telling me about. Characters seemed to be switching over and over again. At the final stage could see the rough waves all coming towards us to wrap us within it. It nearly skipped a few beats in reality too.

To end it with a little humor, it came as " STAR WARS- The End". Out of all things i wondered, why the name was star wars and not "SEA WARS". Another interesting fact was all the people in this were from Hollywood except me being an Indian. The effect was so much that even after getting up, could only think of those faces and waves.

All I could say to conclude it is that "the dream did not end with a scream"

Transforming lives

"Learning has taken over a lifetime, but tried to inculcate it within it".

We are all addicted to something or the other in our lives. It may either be involved in their daily chores, music or adventurous sports etc. One thing that forms a major part in all our lives is the role of media. Media in all forms bring in various dimensions of world's happening at our doorstep.

In the past few days, I have made it a major part in my life and learning too. Though I have always involved it in my day-to-day life. The impact of reading would definitely provide us with information on all aspects and also make us get involved into it. One of the highest prioritized media would be the newspaper. It can never be replaced by any other channel.

The mode of reading will provide us lot of facts and new terminologies to learn from. I have started using my time, which has become a limited resource in our lives, wisely by reading the newspaper. Say from understanding the budget currently, to reading articles on general interest to noting some interesting recipes.

Take your time to definitely enjoy the news from this means, which is more useful and beneficial, outweighing every other channel of communication.

Positive Vs Negative

This blogs comes from a natural experience that most of us go through during our life. All of us wish that our life goes ahead the way we expect it to be, but due to other factors which is beyond our control makes things go the other way round. The positive and negative in this context come into existence with the past experiences in our life.

Its a general feeling that we tend to remember the negative or bad situations that happen to us than the good things. In my terms i would say 1 bad moment could outweigh 100 good things. This feeling comes in because of expectations, not only from life but also with the people whom we associated with. If things do not go as we had wished for, then it may seem the worst nightmare happening.

With such thoughts a probing in and out of us, a solution that we could follow up would be that we don't react to such situations, as if we never had a back up. A person has to always be ready for contingencies, same way one should also be ready to take up what was not expected at a point of time.

Its not very easy as said, because i experienced such things too, but working towards with a positive mind frame, would definitely help us achieve it with ease.

L.I.F.E

The mystery and truth of living is experienced by each person, who closes his/her eyes to have a peaceful sleep at night, wishing the happiness to always be surrounded, and wake up in the morning to open eyes to the most awaited glory of living.

Each one of us wonder whether we'll ever be able to live life exactly the way we ever wished to. No person may always be happy with the way life treats him/her. The instances of living showcase the brighter and darker shades of the life bestowed upon us. The point lies on the fact as to how much are we able to turn the darker side to the happier moments we want to live in.

The way i describe life is- Live It Fearlessly and Enthusiastically. Life can never be easy sailing all the times, but if we are able to make it so, for the major part of it, then we have truly lived our life in that sense. Its true that we are not always happy with what we get, but we always accept things that come to us. The way we approach in accepting them without encountering fear, actually makes stress stay away.

The easy methods would be to spend time with your loved ones, wishing any ups and downs occurring to be held up no longer to create misunderstandings. Viewing life in terms of celebrating each achievement with a souvenir of cherishing moments is what makes enthusiasm and cheerfulness to settle within oneself.

I wish all of u enjoy life the way it was destined in your thoughts, so that a day comes when u really feel the momentum of having lived it the way no one could have ever had.

A different experience

Sitting in the classroom, listening to the long unending lectures, which made all of us sleep most of the times, chatting around, having fun, projects , assignments, presentations etc etc, these have been a part of one year now, having joined in for the MBA. But the difference came in with the opportunity to work in an organization as an internship program through our college for three months.

The initial start itself started up creating lot of stressful moments, as the project work could not start on time. After a delay of 15 days, it finally did. The ambience of the the organization was really liked, because it could be the coolest place to be within, than the outside burning hot climate. The people around and their work made me realize the life of the corporate world. The Culture got settled into me, within the smallest duration.

Though the project work started at a snail pace, it taught me various other things like how to interact with people, the mode of extracting information from learned and experienced members. The mantra that follows is, its not only the world place of hard work, but more of smart work. Innovative ideas are most welcome.

With the movement of time the project took its shape, facing many hurdles like meeting up the deadline and presentation of the work to setting up things as per the right format, it was'nt an easy task, but made it all possible with the help of a friend, who helped me at each stage.

This experience helped in giving an exposure to understand how the real work is actually done, meeting the required standards and the time. Now with the internship getting over, its time back to attend the final year of the college, with more learning sense and confidence.

Right to vote?

The excitement of voting in me ran double the speed of blood in my veins. The day was awaited much because i was to vote for the first time. The feel of being major was realised with this right enabled. To see the ink on my finger after voting was the best part. Finally the day arrived to vote and i was all looking forward to go and vote the polling centre.

The voters id was received just the previous evening and that made a definite decision to vote. Having arrived at the centre, i was waiting for my chance to check out my name on the list and vote. Whether a shock or surprise, numerous people checked out the lists handed to them and found there was no mention of my name at all. It was truly a bad situation, after such excitement.

I just want to know, whether holding the voter's id also restricts a person from voting? The law defines all the rights, but people sadly follow it. The frustration in me settled, when i heard there were many people who kept voting for so many years, and suddenly their name disappearing from the list. Now that seemed being denied of yuor right which you legally hold.

As the elections have taken place and also the results being out, the expectation comes out to see that it does not happen in the future and the list is reviewed to include names of all who are legally bound within.
Wish i do hope the next time when state elections come up.

Track your life

Words that are spoken reflects are thoughts and thinking. It displays our beliefs. Here are a few thoughts which originate from my thinking and being shared with all.
  • People showcase sugar coated words with a bitter taste behind it.
  • The beauty of life is not enjoyed by peeping into others' lives, but within yourself. It is in here that you'll find the realhappiness.
  • You narrow the road to progress by narrowing your thoughts. The key to success lies in wider vision.
  • Hopes are like beautiful petals, which need to be fulfilled sooner, else get withered by the hands of destiny.
  • Surprise your dear ones with the gift of love as deep as a valley and see them cheer the goodness of life happily.
  • Purity of the heart is an developed an an art but the beauty of seeing it through your good deeds is indeed a craft.
  • Track your life with such a direction, so that you never have to take a diversion.

Sight the initiative

Ever felt living in a world filled with imposed threats, breathless life and losing the freedom to live the way u wanted? Well the answer to this is the situation created by our very own hands. There are opportunities knocking at our door, but we refuse to open up, either fearing or being uninterested.

The very reason to write up this blog, is to create an awareness towards the act of choosing leaders for our country, who may work up at least to an extent to fulfill the promises made up by them, during the pre-election period. Join in hands together, to see to it, that we take this initiative to vote(being a major). This way there would be a satisfaction that we actually live under those people whom we chose to rule.

Also sight the needs of those millions of people, who may not ask your help, by themselves, but always need us, to make their future bright. Always take a chance to make donations to the needy in any possible way. Though a "Small help" but a "great help"

Let us make this world such a way, that a person who does not have the power to vision, ever feel its better not to see such a world, which though filled wit brightness is much darker within, than what they see. Instead let us ' sight this inititative' to show them this world, being a happier place through our vision.

Forgetfulness- An art or craft ;)

Forgetting, is it really an art that is built in people right from birth, or is it crafted according to the priorities of living. Some things are genuinely forgotten and some are made to be with the unending list of other work. Here are few of real life examples of it happening.
  • The eyes open up to see this beautiful world, and being thankful to God is forgotten, right at the start of the day. Also when the day ends with you feeling great about your achievements or lonely due to a mishap, always remember to PRAY.
  • The initial meal of the day being Breakfast, should neither be skipped nor forgotten. there may be many reasons for it, like being angry on someone or not feeling like etc.
  • Never forget to express what you feel to any person concerned with. Express your love in the true form for all beloved ones, just few words(say 3) may add more happiness and relieve from every tension or sadness, more than wat you could expect.
  • Let your priorities stand where they are, but never forget to wish friends, relatives etc on their b'day, anniversaries or on any important ocassions.
  • Last but not the least, 'Always remember to forget your enemies, but never remember to forget your friends.

Now before i forget, let me specify, that this is a real dedication to someone.

A Real RECESSion

The setting up of the recessionaryperiod has been felt by one and all, in all dimensions. Though having felt it, it suddenly struck, that it held its impact on the wishes on my b'day. Having celebrated me b'day on 27th march, i realized it happening slowly, as the day went on. The reason of my saying such, is based on tthe number of calls i received.

Last year, having received calls from not only the near and dear ones, but also unexpectedly from many others. With this year, though did get calls, but many missed on it too. It truly shows that people are indeed taking a recess in this period.

With this happening, a blog needed to be posted, reminding people that a recession period does make your expenses and cost of living to rise up, but the one who 'll stay forever are your loved ones. Always make the most of these moments, to fill happiness and joy, by making these special days most special for all.

All in all, it had been the best b'day celebrated as a gr8 DAY, and wonderful evening celebrations at home with the family.

A bound inclination

A path taking a leap towards the corporate world, is seen hence forth. Having completed two semesters of my MBA course, n started with internship, aiming to specialize in HR n Marketing, this big leap, brought in new thought process.

The two semesters were filled with lighter n stressful moments. With unending line of presentations, tests, evaluation, projects the whole year flew with ups and downs in expectations. At times got highly acclaimed, while at times there were rough ones too. All in all, it is an experience to know the world within and outside.

MBA being a buzzword everywhere, make many people feel its a key to instant success. Just a word of thought, that it takes a lot of time, money, patience, knowledge and hard work, to climb the steps of success with this degree. As having read in a article, in today's world, giving 100 percent is not enough. Only when more is given through the performance, that a person can sustain and grow in the corporate world.

Having started learning and experiencing this way of life, it teaches and proves that MBA is truly wat i call as a Mental Balancing Act. Wish all you people out there, planning to take hold of this degree, a great level of commitment and success!!

N the winner is...............................

With a raving headlines, of winners at the recent Oscars, stars and celebrities shone like never before. With high expectations, hopes and enthusiasm, everyone stepped on to the red carpet with a rich welcome, everybody had a hope t make it big that day.

Having personally seen almost all the big hits of great cinema, making it to the Oscars, it definitely makes one think in various dimensions. From the story of a child from the slums, making it big to be a millionaire, or a soul touching true story of Changeling, to an almost impossible concept portrayed in The curious case of Benjamin Buttons, to the lovable and sympathetic story of The Reader, every character involved had special characteristics to display.

Though every one out there could not make it to the truly relishing award of the Oscars, they've shown, a picture that appeared in the olden days(as most of the movies, showcased the early time of 19th century), scintillating picturesque, bringing realistic approach to every piece of act. Though not the award for all, but they've truly captured every heart. A true and real meaning therein, makes them all a winner.

Healthy living....... Smart learning!!!!

Tension, stress, anxiety, nervousness...... do these words ring a bell. With exams around the corner, many students do feel these coming up very often. These feelings though cannot be completely erased, though should not be too, can be reduced to a great extent, by taking an initiative to keep the body healthy, which in turn will keep the mind healthy.

Here are few tips, which would help you cope up with the studies in an enthusiastic manner n help in better concentration:

* Begin the day with a healthy exercise which is as simple as breathing. Hence let the exercise be in the form of breathing itself

* Never skip breakfast. Body always needs to get charged up after a long time of remaining hungry. Include healthy options in the form of fruits, sprouts, protein filled snacks and a glass of fresh orange or grape juice.

* Always include a break in between studies. TAke this time to take a brisk walk, which will refresh your mind and body. An easy way to beat out stress is by having a chocolate or talking a walk.

* Avoid having fried or junk foods. Eat a healthy meal and have milk.

* Another important and essential thing needed is a good sleep. Do not postpone studies to the last minute, and stay awake for the whole night. Not only will it make you feel tired but also lose concentration.

These are few of the tips which could be useful not only while exams, but throughout one's life. By keeping your body healthy, you'll keep your mind and soul happy and peaceful too.

Wishing you all success and a great life ahead.

Movies....... Unlimited

Disclaimer: Do this at your risk, avoid piracy.

Wondering if movies could ever be seen without having to move out, relax with snacks in hand and peace of mind.. Having got a laptop added to various modes of fun, and the one included latest in the list is having learnt how to download movies from a close friend:)

With few simple steps to follow and a wait for about 8-10 hours, the movie of your choice is all available.

1. The first step would be to download u torrent from http://www.utorrent.com/download.php

2. Once this is downloaded, next would be to choose the movie, songs etc you would like to have. This could be found in the site http://www.mininova.org/
You would get a wide choices on all movies.

3. Here you would find Seeds and Leechers. The more the seeds the better is the quality and print of the movie. Another way to find out about the print would be to go through the comments posted, which could be viewed by clicking on the small blue box at the end of the Name column.

4. Once you search for the movie u need from the search box, click on the name, a page opens wherein u'll find "download this torrent". click on it and save it.

5. Once this torrent is downloaded, open the utorrent which was downloaded initially. Go to file-add this torrent. The file will start getting downloaded. In case u have to close your pc or laptop, u can also pause the download and start back later.

6. A wait around 10 hours and your movie is downloaded. The time taken depends upon the size of your file and speed of your internet connection.

It was fun learning this interesting stuff. Hope u'll feel the same too.

LOVEly Month

The month of "Love" has arrived. This is all we hear when the month of February comes up. This feeling that enlightens everyone's life is needed by all. Many of us believe that love cannot be expressed only on a single day, but do we really make every moment special for our loved ones??

A small act of misconduct or a fight makes us feel more than the unending lovely moments spent together. Love is a feeling of expression rather than impression. If the feeling is genuinely expressed, the love of your life will instantly get impressed. Thus a day of Valentine's will definitely make Cupid show a shine on your love.

The date of Valentine "14th" february indicates that there '1' '4' all f us. So make this month of love really special for your love, which makes you cherish and feel most lucky to have that "1" special person whom you can always call upon. Have a gr8 Valentine month:)
