Nokia, iPhone, Android, Blackberry... the list goes on with its numerous primary products and its sub categories. The list is endless as there are so many companies emerging out of nowhere to make products compete with the leaders in the market. The economy is slowing down but is indirectly proportional to the number of purchases of gadgets. There is an enormous rise no matter where the economy is leading to. Wonder where from all that money comes. Also surprisingly people like before do not utilize these gadgets till the gadget cries out for freedom from being totally worn out. The purchase decision is made as soon as a new one comes up (which happens not once in blue moon, but every day moon is seen)
It proves otherwise when people buy gadgets without actually understanding the need and purpose of it. Do today's gadget stand only as a status of symbol to be held in hand and people go awww? Or is it truly of the value and amount that it proposes of? The answer lies in the beholder and the possessor of such gadgets. The ranges of products under various categories will keep increasing. It is truly owned only when the person could acquire the knowledge and hands on experience on how to use it and the means by which it could be explored to better usage. Go techie but do not get freaky.
