A different experience

Sitting in the classroom, listening to the long unending lectures, which made all of us sleep most of the times, chatting around, having fun, projects , assignments, presentations etc etc, these have been a part of one year now, having joined in for the MBA. But the difference came in with the opportunity to work in an organization as an internship program through our college for three months.

The initial start itself started up creating lot of stressful moments, as the project work could not start on time. After a delay of 15 days, it finally did. The ambience of the the organization was really liked, because it could be the coolest place to be within, than the outside burning hot climate. The people around and their work made me realize the life of the corporate world. The Culture got settled into me, within the smallest duration.

Though the project work started at a snail pace, it taught me various other things like how to interact with people, the mode of extracting information from learned and experienced members. The mantra that follows is, its not only the world place of hard work, but more of smart work. Innovative ideas are most welcome.

With the movement of time the project took its shape, facing many hurdles like meeting up the deadline and presentation of the work to setting up things as per the right format, it was'nt an easy task, but made it all possible with the help of a friend, who helped me at each stage.

This experience helped in giving an exposure to understand how the real work is actually done, meeting the required standards and the time. Now with the internship getting over, its time back to attend the final year of the college, with more learning sense and confidence.

Right to vote?

The excitement of voting in me ran double the speed of blood in my veins. The day was awaited much because i was to vote for the first time. The feel of being major was realised with this right enabled. To see the ink on my finger after voting was the best part. Finally the day arrived to vote and i was all looking forward to go and vote the polling centre.

The voters id was received just the previous evening and that made a definite decision to vote. Having arrived at the centre, i was waiting for my chance to check out my name on the list and vote. Whether a shock or surprise, numerous people checked out the lists handed to them and found there was no mention of my name at all. It was truly a bad situation, after such excitement.

I just want to know, whether holding the voter's id also restricts a person from voting? The law defines all the rights, but people sadly follow it. The frustration in me settled, when i heard there were many people who kept voting for so many years, and suddenly their name disappearing from the list. Now that seemed being denied of yuor right which you legally hold.

As the elections have taken place and also the results being out, the expectation comes out to see that it does not happen in the future and the list is reviewed to include names of all who are legally bound within.
Wish i do hope the next time when state elections come up.

Track your life

Words that are spoken reflects are thoughts and thinking. It displays our beliefs. Here are a few thoughts which originate from my thinking and being shared with all.
  • People showcase sugar coated words with a bitter taste behind it.
  • The beauty of life is not enjoyed by peeping into others' lives, but within yourself. It is in here that you'll find the realhappiness.
  • You narrow the road to progress by narrowing your thoughts. The key to success lies in wider vision.
  • Hopes are like beautiful petals, which need to be fulfilled sooner, else get withered by the hands of destiny.
  • Surprise your dear ones with the gift of love as deep as a valley and see them cheer the goodness of life happily.
  • Purity of the heart is an developed an an art but the beauty of seeing it through your good deeds is indeed a craft.
  • Track your life with such a direction, so that you never have to take a diversion.
